For Series 2 of BBC 2's SF/Comedy show
Hyperdrive I was asked by Niel at
Qurios Entertainment to come up with some variations on the 'HMS Camden Lock'. Out of the ones I did these 2 were chosen, they ended up in Episode 6 -Convoy as the 'HMS Purley Way', pictured above, and the 'HMS Gower', below. The 'HMS Purley Way' has the most radical engine design of the 2 craft, this was modified a bit more once the meshes had been handed over to the guys at
Qurios.

I made this ship look more like a cargo ship, the towers were inspired by a section of the 'Sulaco' from
Aliens. Again this ship went through further alterations at
Qurios

Some of the detail was made to be mix and match such as these domes.

Also some football pitches were made for fun, these ended up on the back of the 'HMS Purley Way', though you'd be hard pushed to spot them. For this render it is seen on the back of the 'HMS Camden Lock' maybe if they have home matches it just attaches onto any British Ship.
