Found this while clearing out some old drawings etc... Never got around to finishing it, it's Dennis Hopper as Frank Booth from David Lynch's Blue Velvet and I probably drew this around 1988. Even though it's unfinished I thought I'd post it up for all to see !!

Robot Head
Here's something I made a while back that I recycled partly form the Cyberman head I'd made earlier and posted here back in 2007. Suppose it's some kind of robot head, but it's also inspired by the Helmet's from Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and games like Killzone. Made in Max 7.

UFO Tests - Work in progress - Part 2
Been doing some work on the UFO model and started work on a CG environment, at the moment the buildings have simply been copied far left and right to fill out the scene, but I'm working on some new buildings for there, also they need chimneys, TV Ariels etc... to help dress them. The phone box textures I took in Yarm along with the NatWest bank front, you can see a closer picture of the phone box that I posted here back in 2006, the shop textures I got from some pictures I took in Middleton in Teesdale a few years back. The buildings are fairly low poly and I'm only building what you'll see for the most part.As for the UFO, I've changed the colour of the outer lights at the request of Steve who I'm modeling these for. The above render is purely a test at the moment with a bit of photoshop enhancement.
Another test vid, a little on the dark side now it's in You Tube, but you get the idea !

UFO Tests - Work in progress
Here's a couple of quick tests for one of the models I'm making for a proposed TV documentary about UFO sightings, this one being a Black triangle - UFO which have been observed since as far back at the 1940's, there was also a mass sighting of these of St. Petersburg in Russia in 1997.
Still some work to do on this mesh, making it in Max 7 and these test renders were done in Vue 6.

Star Wars - Imperial Battlestation
I started this around 2 years ago for a UK Star Wars fan film some guys I vaguely new were making, anyway nothing ever came of the project and it got shoved to my spare drive to gather virtual dust. Happened across it the other month while looking for something else. It was designed to be a battlestation but a fraction of the size of a Death Star but still big enough to pack a good punch. One of the guys on Sci-Fi Meshes forums said it should be called the "Giant Hurt Ball" :)
Here's a picture to show the scale compared to the Death Star from Star Wars

Gingerbreed
Gingerbreed is an independent SF Comedy feature directed by Jonathan Dorfman and Szymon Weglarski, with live action filmed in New York in 2006. This low budget film is relying heavily on the use of virtual sets to boost it's look, hence the film being shot against green screen, with production of the large amount of Visual FX shots has been progressing steadily over the last few years. I was contacted to build the main Russian ship for this film a while back, and Idocumented the making of part of the ship here on my art blog. The whole ship design will be unveiled closer to the films release, as Jonathan and Szymon want to keep the full design of the craft under wraps. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final film and what the ship looks like rendered.
The Gingerbreed Blog can be followed here
