Mark Cheng director of the film Deployment Strategy has just posted an FX reel of 3D shots over at his films Blog. These use 3D meshes that I made or worked on with Simon Hilton. I posted my work on these last year but I'm posting a few of the images here again.
I designed, constructed and textured the main Police vehicle for the film, the vehicle is used by Division 9 of the United States Homeland Security Cyber Crimes unit.
The 2nd vehicle I built and designed was this city bus. I passed this over to Simon Hilton who textured it for Mark.
Finally I built this tower which started life as another model, some cargo containers. This was also passed over to Simon who added the roof details etc... and did the texture work.
Final FX work was handled by Art Duck Studios who are based in Warsaw, Poland.
Check out the link to the FX work reel here which is over at Mark Cheng's site http://tinyurl.com/244gfb

Pretty serious 3d work here, I like your lighting particularly. Nice GI stuff.
What software do you use?
Hey Leonie I see what you mean about that picture ! :)
Cheers Allen !
Ciaran, I work mainly in 3DS Max and Vue Infinite. Cheers for the feedback !
Geez, I'm having flashbacks of that Space 1988 show all over agian. Dude, I wanna make toys outta this stuff. Very cool.
It`s loking very great Andrew!
Cheers
Hey Kyle it was Space 1999, but I knew what you meant ! :) Mind you it's 2007 and still no sign of a moonbase.
Or are they hiding said moonbase? You know, to...surprise people...
Anyway, awesome work as usual! Great designs and really nice details. I really like everything but the bus is my favourite. I saw it as a bus before I read it which is pretty cool since it's a spaceship like design. Anyway great, inspiring work!
nice vehicle designs
AWESOME designs!!
your work is great!
i love the tripod!...
Really smart models, I like solidity of them, you can actually see how heavy they are.
I was looking at some new Space 1999 models yesterday - from Product Enterprise. All the configurations of the Eagle craft. The display one is great but expensive.

nice stuff Andrew. You have a nice sense of design with all this vehicular stuff!
It's very interesting to see your interpretation of a flying bus. I recently build a that kind of vehicle too and it looks very different.
The other models are also very well.
Damn.. I love the look of the city bus Andrew! Your work rocks!
I really like the look of the vehicles and the city. I am just sucker for that style.

That building really caught my eye, but those ships are sweet too. Really excellent stuff Andrew. Need more!
