Launch Tube - work in progress

I started this a day or so ago. When complete it's going to be the launch tube for my Orange Spaceship. Again I loved all that late 70's early 80's Sci-Fi like Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century where we seen spaceships launched or flying down launch tunnels etc... Not too sure which way the bay doors will open when I add them or if the bay needs any doors, any suggestions would be appreciated. Still got a lot of work to add to this. There's a small control room in the bottom picture that'll be illuminated. I suppose this section is a small area of a larger ship or space station.Oh yeah still not 100% sure about the size of this ship to a person, at the moment it's bigger than a fighter, more of a 2 or 3 man ship though I think in the final scene the ship will be around 20 -30% smaller than seen here.
Cheers for looking.
I've taken the You Tube video down that I posted as it was very dark and didn't really do the job it was intended to do. I'll post a new one once more work is done.

Orange Spaceship Animation
I posted the original model of this back in November, anyway I've been doing some Animations of it in Vue 5 Infinite for a reel of stuff I'm putting together. It's not going to be a showreel as such but more of a way of putting various animations I've done over the years together to a piece of music, it'll last about 3 and a half minutes when I get it finished. I don't consider myself an animator, I can move objects from A to B sure, but to me that's not really animation in the true sense, but occasionally I like to see the things I've made move even if it is a fairly straight forward affair of them just moving across the screen from left to right etc...
Not too sure who the Orange ships are fighting, but it'll probably end up being the green Starbug Ship I'm still working on. The Lasers were added in Photoshop afterwards using a white cylinder that was rendered out on two seperate passes in Vue so that they lined up with the barrels perspective Ok.
If you click on my November Archive you can see my original posts for this Orange Spaceship, and as soon as I have all the clips put together, some of which you'll have already seen posted here, then I'll post it up here.

Nose Cone - updated

This is a nose cone that I started recently, wanted to do something different colourwise, always been a huge fan of Peter Elson's work so I decided to go red and orange, very Thunderbird 3 also. Last bits I added to this was the detail to that mid trench area. I'll do some more work on this over the weekend maybe.Done a bit more work on this. It's all going a bit into the Chris Foss direction now.
