Here's a bit of messing about, this started as a low poly mesh in Max, I just brought it into Mudbox for a play and it's ended up very Skeksis like, the bad guys from
The Dark Crystal. This is about as far as this'll go as my max mesh was very basic. Still I thought I'd post what I'd done.

I love the skeksis! finish it please!
I'd really need to go back to square one with this, I'm only just starting to learn Mudbox so I have a long way to go yet.
well suck...this was lookin great. You will have to do a full version andrew , ya tease! ;)
I think it looks a bit like the aliens from the comic 'Camelot 3000,' drawn by Brian Boland and written by..... somebody.
It may be the eye socket.
Great stuff! Any word on the proposed sequel to Dark Crystal?
IMDB has it down for a May 2008 release !
I heard it was all shelved now! Chris Claremont wrote Camelot 300 I think.
Nice work G-man
IMDB still has all the cast list up etc... though I haven't heard any new for a while so maybe it has been shelved, shame if it had !
Oh here we go,they have a production Blog here http://powerofthedarkcrystal.blogspot.com/

Very cool. All my friends who do this stuff tell me not to even try 3D modeling, that I should be painting. Thanks for the movie update, I'm looking forward to the new Dark Crystal.
I'd email you directly about this if I could because I wouldn't want it to seem like advertising but I wanted you to know I put up some of my War of the Worlds stuff, not all, mainly the least seen stuff. Your tripods are great by the way. Everyone else ignore this.
