Aliens

I made this kit many years ago, it was produced by a UK Model Company called Halcyon and this figure was sculpted by UK sculpter Colin Batty. I shot these pics on my old Yashica 35mm, I took my asthma inhaler and fired a couple of jets of it into the beam of my slide projector behind the model, then took a half second exposure of the model.

ps. Trevor is making an honest woman of me on the 14th October and we are getting married. Do you by any remote chance know of anyone in the Solihull area who might be able to take some photographs? Nothing posh, no albums... just pics on a CD and I'll sort the rest.

Cool lighting, and the mist is a nice touch. Inhaler and a projector huh? I'd never have thought to try it. Way to use your ingenuity.

I can bearly make out the face of Yaphet Kotto in the mist. Nice job.

All right sweet hearts, what are you waiting for? breakfast in bed.
Another glorious day in the corps.
A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm.
Every meal a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade.
I LOVE THE CORPS!

hua! nice pics really; happy experiment; on the first look, the effect in the upper bluish one has something of a 80s music-clip. The other one is either being torched by a spacemarine with flamethrower or an ship's engine =)

Cheers for all the feecback on this, doing things like using a projector and an inhaler is the kind of fun and inventivness that you just don't get with CG !!
