Downed Tripod

This is a very old picture using a Tripod model that I made out of primatives in Vue 2 many years ago, another newer pic I did with this model can be seen in my first post I made on this Blog http://tinyurl.com/j39sx
I sent some of these pics a few years ago to John Christopher 'aka Samuel Youd' who wrote the Tripods books, he was very complimentary about my work. At the moment I don't think this author has a single book in print in the UK. There has been talk for quite a few years that a movie version of his Tripods Trilogy might be filmed, at present IMDB has Australian Director Gregor Jordan listed to be at the helm of this long awaited project. BBC TV filmed the first two books of the trilogy in the mid 8o's.

I remember the tv series watched it with appaling reception in the west of ireland .But it sure was a cool show for it's time . Without reading your post I was thinking of the show the tripods . Sweet stuff man .
