Shuttle Craft WIP

This is one of those ships that I made that has been squashed, stretched, chopped and changed more times than I can remember, and when I found it sitting on my spare drive the other day I thought I'd post some pics of the two versions that I liked best. The texture work is only temporary for these renders, but it shows the advantage that CG modelling has over real world modelling in terms of being able to have multiple versions of a ship without having to rebuild it again. I'm sure one day it'll find a home. :)

hi there,

What a nice shuttle craft you've made. Great to see such a creative mind here.
Wish you the best.

NICE! I like the Heavy Industrial look to it...looks like it could travel through some rather heavy fire or nasty weather. Also, thanks for the compliment on the Entropy Gate images...I have another I'll post tomorrow.

BTW, saw that you liked Tangerine Dream. How about Christopher Franke from T.D. He dis the sound track for Babylon 5. Also, have you heard the soundtrack from "THE KEEP"? One of T.D.'s best.

I've been a fan of 'The Keep' for a long time, compared to the book the movie is pretty flawed in a lot of departments but it's still a visually great film, and TD's soundtrack is a fabulous one. I've got a couple of Franke CD's ,stuff like 'Klemania'

Very cool...never read the book though...looks like my 'books-to-read' list just got longer.

Maybe it's more Galactica but Buck Rogers used to nick ships from that show on a regular basis,I remember the Galctica Shuttle showing up in Buck Rogers many a time !! :)
