Glasses

Here's an older render I did of some drinking glasses, I was never happy with the refraction/reflection on this pic, I don't like the reflection and curve on the drinking straw. This is something that I'll probably re-light and end up doing another render of eventually with another Glass material.

I wish I could do something like that and not be happy with it.

I know you can see something we can't...this already looks amazing, Andrew!

The complexity of the tiled works-surface pattern reflected on the glasses is staggering...

I'm not in the habit of filling glasses full of milk, sticking in a straw and then looking at the reflections on the side of the glass myself. Perhaps I should be, because I seem to be missing a whole different side of life here. Great picture though, wish I could do have as good!

Cheers for the feedback everyone !!!

Looks like too much reflection, regular soda glass has quite low reflective qualities, certainly lower than lead crystal. Maybe add some dishwasher scratches too. Nice pic though

Cool work man, I wish I understood light and reflections to that degree.

We had to do an exercise at school and I really wanted to use this image as inspiration, but afterwards I discovered it was to difficult for me to realise.
Thanks for sharing your great work!
