I started this model before Series 1 of the new Doctor Who series began a year or so ago, I really hate the Tardis interior that they use and would love to see something that has more the look of the original shows, so I started to build this, but only ever got this far. Maybe eventually I'll build the centre control console etc... just to get this finished.

Tardis Interior - Work in progress
I started this model before Series 1 of the new Doctor Who series began a year or so ago, I really hate the Tardis interior that they use and would love to see something that has more the look of the original shows, so I started to build this, but only ever got this far. I haven't seen the new series...Tom Baker was my favorite Doctor. I could easily see him in this room.
Everybody should do a Tardis interior, its fun, and your one is nice and shiny. Here's a link to an artist you may know who does a shed load of 'who' things.

I totally agree the new TARDIS interior is horrible. Also it doesn't make much sense that it uses old and tatty controls. The classic design was much better and I think your concept makes a nice compromise.
Gary J.: when the series returnd I thought they would continue to use the tardis interior from tv movie The Enemy With-In which is what thhey should've done
Very nice! I can't stand the console room in the new show. I know they redesigned it for series 5, but I'm keeping my expectations low. We'll see. They should use your design. Far superior theirs!
