Laser Turret Guns

When I posted my Gun Turret Animation a while back I was unhappy with the actual guns, I thought there was way too many lasers in the shot. so I made some new guns that I was going to attach to the turret, anyway this is where I got up to work wise with them, and eventually I plan to attach them to the turret and re-texture the scene etc... I decided to go with guns that recoil as I always loved the guns on the AT-AT in The Empire Strikes Back and how they fire, one then the other.

Here the animation test I did at the time of building the turret Gun Barrel test
It's just a test to see how the recoil will work.

Also here's the link back to my original animation of the turret Gun Turret Animation

Incredible work Andrew. Love the Gun Barrel Test! Looks like Shane Lewis' stormtroopers could have used one of these. haha

I'll have to redo the turret scene from The planet now. Be great to see a few of these bad boys whacking away... I'm sure I didn't mean to write that!

Hey Michael, when you do The Planet:Special Edition and add in phony Jabba's etc... let me know and I'll do you laser turrets ! But no whacking away please.

Hi Andrew, you shouldn't say things like that I may take you up on it. I think I may have to beat in half my brain to come up with a Jabba like the one in the special edition Star Wars though, it really was very wrong!
