Orange Spaceship in action

Here's a fairly recent picture using some of my older models, my Orange Spaceship and my Wind Turbine models from previous pics. Made in Max and Vue 5.

I've probably asked you this before Andrew, but how long does it take you to create a landscape in Vue on average? I keep telling myself to have a go at it, but have never got round to it.

Andy, you can create the actual landscape in Vue in minutes, it's the lighting and rendering that take the time but the actual generation of the terrain can be done very quick !

Really nice mate!!
hey im no 3d guy..but do you rekoon it might be nice to have some of that nice blue exhaust having some type of blurring coming out of the back of the ship to give it an even greater sense of movement...sort of a vapour trail type of thing - or maybe off the tips of the wings!!
Great image tho!!!

the environment doesn't look up to your usual standards- the map seems a bit stretched vertically.

nice colors though

Hi Brian , the landscape has no textures mapped to it, they're done with Vue's procedural textures so there's no map to stretch, if you mean the lines up the brown rock walls then that's mean't to be Strata in the rock, just one of the Vue materials.
Thanks for all the feedback on this, and yes Simon I agree about the engines.

I really love that orange ship, I think the only thing is that it looks like those 2 front ships are chasing those down below in the valley but they're the same ship also,it may have been nice to have another ship down there. Still super work mate.

I see what you mean Moonwatcher, I think the 2 ships at the back are just late for the mission and are trying to catch up with their buddies :)
