Here a small anim with some very basic lighting and textures of the SF Environment that I started ages ago, thought I'd post the anim up here even though I don't have any idea when I'll ever get around to finishing this scene.

HMS Camden Lock - Interior Corridor

Seeing as though we're half way through the 2nd series of Hyperdrive here in the UK I thought I'd post this render I did late last year of the interior of the HMS Camden Lock, it's not an exact replica of the interior of the ship from the show, maybe it's an area we haven't seen yet. Oh yeah this isn't used at all in the show, I just did this for fun. Here's links to other renders of the door section of this model I posted a while back.

Been on Holiday

Hey all, been on holiday with the family in case you're wondering why there's been no updates or your comments never got posted up straight away. Cheers for all the feedback while I've been away.
We didn't travel too far away from where we live, about an hour an a half's journey. The weather was hit and miss and I've been suffering for the past few weeks either from pulled muscles or a cracked rib, all I know is it feels like a knife in my ribs when I sneeze or cough. And getting comfortable in bed is a chore.

New Pic - Hoorah !!

Haven't posted anything for a while, so I dug through my spare drive and found this pic I did in Vue 5, had to check through my blog first because I was sure I'd already posted it, but apparently not. Been busy still with the Gingerbreed spaceship and some other bits. Sorry if I haven't been around many of the Blogs leaving comments for a while,I plan to spend an hour or so seeing who's been up to what artwork wise when I get the time.

Deployment Strategy news

Mark Cheng's SF Short Deployment Strategy to which I contributed some 3D Model work has won 1st place for Sci-Fi Short at The Indie Gathering.
It has also been nominated for Best Special Effects at the Action on Film Festival.
Mark also has the film placed as Official Selections at a few more film festivals.

Above is Mark's cover design for the DVD though he's still tweaking it.

Laser Animation

I did this animation test around about the same time that I did the Gun Turret Animation
It shows up a bit dark on You Tube,click the link to see the ship firing Laser Test
Oh yeah it's a pretty short clip, I was just seeing what this ship would look like firing multiple lasers.
