I posted this back in 2006 here from the PS2 Game Stealth Force - The War on Terror I did whilst at Atomic Planet Entertainment. I found these renders today I did at the time, these were just to test the tunnel sections and details and were not used quite like this in the final game.
Here are some grabs I found online from the same level from the actual game, it really was a bargain basement shoot em up, the A.I. on the enemies was all over the place, you could literally be looking at a bad guy and he wouldn't see you, and then you'd be miles away from one and they'd start shooting at you. Still I had fun building this level even if the game was crap.

Y'know... sometimes, that's all you get. Let it put a smile on your face.
Have you heard that phrase that it's just as easy to fall in love with a rich man as a poor man? It's the same with working on video games. You work just as hard on the game that sells 100K units as you do on the one that sells 6 million units. Well, if you're doing it right, anyway. You do the same hard work, the same pursuit of excellence, and sometimes you get lucky, that's all.
If it's fun on top of it - shoot, Andrew. You win.
Imagine how bad the game would be if you didn't make the sets look this good? Awesome stuff!
Hahaha - nice stuff andrew - keep em coming mate!!
nice description
some projects are like that:)
good atmosphere
Wow, even if the game wasn't as good, your environments are just stunning! Crazy good as always.
:-)
Amazing work, looks great!
I love the claustrophobic feel of this mine design!
