Star Wars - Imperial Battlestation

I started this around 2 years ago for a UK Star Wars fan film some guys I vaguely new were making, anyway nothing ever came of the project and it got shoved to my spare drive to gather virtual dust. Happened across it the other month while looking for something else. It was designed to be a battlestation but a fraction of the size of a Death Star but still big enough to pack a good punch.
One of the guys on Sci-Fi Meshes forums said it should be called the "Giant Hurt Ball" :)

Here's a picture to show the scale compared to the Death Star from Star Wars

I think that would work better if there was 2 of them Deathticles !

Great fun, Andrew, as usual! Do you have any renders a little closer in? It looks like an interesting thing for being such a little hurtball. I'd love to see more of it.

I need to do some better close-up renders, I'll try and sort some soon !!

Love the chunky bits round the left side of the render. Looks kitbashed, like all yer stuff. The real deal!

Stunning render! particularly like that red glow - maybe it could be Darths student flat, beautiful nebula!

This looks awesome Andrew. Loving the render and the level of detail (as always).
