Attic Bedroom

I made this model around 2 years ago as a favour for Niel at Qurios Entertainment, it featured in one shot at the end of a music video that they did. The video was for the song Hungry Eyes by the group Eyeopener. The Blanket on the bed was just a temporary object I made, the guys at Qurios did the final one as there was a kid asleep in the bed in the actual video. Also the picture on the wall, the Pig Pile by Curtis Jobling wasn't in the final vid, I just put it in for my initial build. I belive this room has been used again in a sequel video that Qurios have done called Angel Eyes for the same group. I get royalties everytime they use this so there's 10p in the bank already. :)

I'm keeping my eyes open for the new vid on all the crappy music channels (I'm also keeping my ears shut at the same time)

Haven't seen it yet.......

Love it. I worked on a project, a kids film, where the characters were CGI but the sets they walked through were 1/10th scale models. I built all of the modles, but sigh, the co. went out of business because the writing script stunk like fart cheese. I only have one of the models...a bathroom.

Also, thanks Andrew for all of the compliments on my art work...I had recieved a rejection letter from an agent that I though was going to represent my book. The compliments help put the smile back on.

Awesome job! The lighting looks great. That is one of my weakness, so many options when it comes to lighting, I get a little lost. Looking forward to seeing more.

just curious...most of my art-friends here work in their studios late in the night...like right now it's 12:50 am. If I wasn't so blasted tired from working three jobs , I get down to the studio and crank out some work...as it is, I'll finish my "Heavy Lager" and do some editing before bed time...after which I'll rise at 8:00 am and start the whole frickin' work cycle all over again...at what time of day or night do you find the art gnomes, fairies, muses...whatever to be blessing you?

I have to most eratic sleep pattern of anyone I know. I can quite easily be working on stuff at 5am and then have a few hours sleep before I have to take the kids to school. I've always been a night person,I always have my best ideas and do my best work between 8pm and 8am :)
