Here's a fairly recent picture using some of my older models, my Orange Spaceship and my Wind Turbine models from previous pics. Made in Max and Vue 5.

Gingerbreed - Spaceship - Work in Progress Pt 8

Here's some work on the area at the back of the ship that has been left empty for a while, it now has the retractable access tube and launch arm for the ships escape vehicle. The arm swings to the side of the ship to launch, when you get to see the whole ship this will become clear why.

Tripods Covers - Circa 2002

Here are a few rather old pics I did, probably 2002. They were my take on the 4 Book covers to The Tripods novels by John Christopher. I was quite pleased with these at the time, looking back now they ain't so hot. No Hyperdrive Series 3

Kevin Cecil one of the writers of Hyperdive has announced that there won't be a 3rd Series.

Sorry everyone but there won't be a third series of Hyperdrive.

The BBC said that they really liked it and that we should be very proud of it but not enough people watched it to warrant making more.

We'd like to thank everyone on this board for their support of the show. We're very pleased that we got to make two series. We really enjoyed doing it.

Here are some renders I did in Vue of the finished landing Thrusters, the ship has four of these, 2 up front and 2 at the back. No shaders applied to these meshes, just the basic textures so far.

Gingerbreed - Spaceship - Work in Progress Pt 5

Here are some updates of the texturing of the side thrusters at the rear of the ship and the general engine area. These thrusters retract in to the main hull of the ship when it's in flight, and only come out for landing.


I've also detailed and textures the are at the top of the ship where the mechanism will go that the escape vessel attaches to, and you people thought that was a swimming pool.

These two pics at the bottom are a bit more updated than those of the thrusters.
