Tucker Sno-Cat for Dylan Teague

I made this 3D Model of a Sno-Cat recently for comic book artist Dylan Teague
Dylan is currently illustrating a comic and needed some good reference for a Sno-Cat vehicle, having searched online Dylan asked me if I could make him a 3D model so he could import it into Google Sketch-Up so he could then use it to help him with the specific angles he needed for the strip.
The model is based on a number of Sno-Cat references that both Dylan and me found in an online search, and the model is a bit of a hybrid of those. It didn't need texturing at all so it made the job quicker. I've seen some of the panels that this is getting used in and it looks cool, and I'm sure Dylan will be posting pages from the comic on his site soon.

Here's Dylan's render in Google Sketch-Up

First of all, gotta give props for your main icon logo. I gave it the Gotham City comparison back on my blog.

Diggin on the large industrial machinery you've got going on here. Large mechanical objects, flying vehicles, rockets... I take it that you're familiar with Wings of Honneamise and/or Steamboy? (The machine and environment development are worth the look.)

One thing I wanted to pass by you, since you've got the love of rocketry and spaceflight here: There's an article in the Nov 2003 edition of The Atlantic Monthly that deals with the Columbia investigation (written by William Langewiesche). Don't know if there's an online version of it anywhere, but if you can get your hands on it (and it's a really good read, trust me), I'd dig on hearing what your thoughts are. Cheers.

Hey thanks man! Obviously you are the professional in this field...i'm just a beginner in the 3D world. I'm still debating if I should go for film or game industry.
